Terms of Service

By accessing or using Outsyde ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

Outsyde is a lifestyle discovery platform designed to help users across Nigeria discover places, events, and experiences. While we launched in Lagos, our platform serves users in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Kano, Enugu, and all other cities and states across Nigeria.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Outsyde. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

When you create an account on Outsyde, you agree to:

• Provide truthful and accurate information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
• Not create multiple accounts or impersonate other users
• Not share your account credentials with third parties

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Outsyde allows users to post reviews, comments, ratings, photos, and other content ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Outsyde a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the Platform.

You agree that your User Content will not:

• Be false, misleading, or defamatory
• Contain hate speech, threats, or harassment targeting individuals or groups
• Infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
• Contain explicit, adult, or otherwise inappropriate material
• Advertise or promote products or services without our permission
• Violate any applicable Nigerian law or regulation

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines without notice.

Outsyde's "Link Up" feature allows users to connect with others who share plans to visit the same places or attend the same events. By using this feature, you acknowledge that:

• Outsyde is a platform that facilitates connections between users — we do not screen or verify the identity of other users
• You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, both online and offline
• You should exercise appropriate caution when meeting other users in person
• Outsyde is not liable for any harm, loss, or damage arising from user interactions facilitated through Link Ups

We encourage all users to prioritise their safety when meeting other users in person.

Outsyde lists places and events across Nigeria as a discovery tool. We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of listings, however:

• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any listing
• Opening hours, prices, menus, and other details may change without notice
• We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of any listed place or event
• Inclusion on Outsyde does not constitute an endorsement of any venue or event organiser

Users are encouraged to verify details directly with venues before visiting.

When using Outsyde, you agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Nigerian law
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its systems
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform without our written consent
• Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the Platform
• Post spam, unsolicited messages, or promotional content
• Manipulate ratings, reviews, or other user-generated content
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Platform's operation

All content on Outsyde — including but not limited to the Outsyde name, logo, design, text, graphics, and software — is the property of Outsyde or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any Platform content without our express written permission.

Outsyde is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Outsyde disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Outsyde shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or ₦10,000, whichever is greater.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of Outsyde after such notice constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
